🧪 Cannabutter Brownie Science

Making edibles is a chemical process. To unlock the potential of your flower, you must follow two critical steps: Decarboxylation and Fat Infusion.

1 Decarboxylation (Activation)
Raw flower contains THCA, which is non-psychoactive. Heating the flower converts THCA into active Delta-9 THC. Ground your flower, spread it on a baking sheet, and bake at 240°F (115°C) for 40 minutes.
2 Infusion (Fat Binding)
THC is highly fat-soluble (lipophilic). Simmer your activated decarbed flower with 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of water (to prevent burning) on low heat (160°F - 180°F) for 2 to 3 hours. Strain through cheesecloth and refrigerate.
3 Infused Fudge Brownies
Melt 1/2 cup of your Cannabutter with 4 oz of unsweetened chocolate. Whisk in 1.25 cups sugar, 2 eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla. Fold in 1/2 cup flour and 1/4 tsp salt. Pour into an 8-inch square pan and bake at 325°F (160°C) for 22-25 minutes. Cut into 16 even squares.
